All applicants must provide a clear outline of their intended project.
Your application must include:
- A project description, including detailed information on your itinerary and proposed meetings
- An itemised budget of how the grant will be spent
Support material
You must submit the following support material with your application as a PDF via the online system:
- A one-page CV outlining your experience as a teacher of English and literacy or teacher librarian
- A one-page letter of support from your employer
- Your proposed itinerary, including detailed information on proposed meetings and travel, with a budget breakdown (up to five pages)
- If your project refers to, or involves First Nations individuals, communities or subject matter, you must submit a letter of support from the relevant individuals and communities
Report
At the end of the project, the Fellow will be expected to write a report of up to 5,000 words and present their research findings at teachers’ conferences, and to their colleagues and peers. Fellows will also be able to reserve up to $1,000 from their grant money to put towards relief as they finalise their report or present at conferences. Fellows can complete the Reading Australia Report.
This report should address the following: key findings, outcomes, benefit to the Fellow and teaching community, recommendations (if any) and a financial breakdown of how the grant was spent.
