The Copyright Agency and the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) share a joint commitment to educate public relations and communication practitioners on the importance of copyright.
The theme for the 2019 PRIA National Conference is PR in the New World – Trust, Transformation and Relevance. The conference will be held at the Crown Promenade Hotel – 8 Whiteman Street, Southbank VIC 3006 on Wednesday, 13 November. The conference will be held in conjunction with the National Golden Target Awards Presentation Dinner (13 November) at the same venue and the PRIA/RMIT Research Symposium 2019 (14 November) will be held offsite at RMIT University – 124 La Trobe Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.
As the public relations landscape is changing at a rapid pace, communicators must stay ahead of it all – from why there is a global lack of trust in corporations, governments, workplaces and neighbourhoods to how the social media shake-up is changing society; and how the emergence of new technologies, fake news, multiple communication channels, artificial intelligence and influencers are changing the way we think and act.
This two-day national conference brings the top minds in PR industry to Melbourne to address these changes and challenges with keynote addresses, breakout sessions, the PRIA/RMIT Research Symposium, a Masterclass and conversations. Think Trust, Think Transformation and Think Relevance to spark your knowledge, your discoveries, your networks and your career in PR and the New World Order.
