4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art (4A) is an independent not-for-profit organisation based in Sydney, Australia. 4A fosters excellence and innovation in contemporary culture through the commissioning, presentation, documentation and research of contemporary art. Our program is presented throughout Australia and Asia, where we ensure that contemporary art plays a central role in understanding and developing the dynamic relationship between Australia and the wider Asian region.

AUSTRALIAN CENTRE FOR CONTEMPORARY ART

Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA) in Melbourne plays an inspirational and critical role investing in our artistic and wider communities, leading the cultural conversation and setting the agenda for contemporary art. Our mission is to Do Art Differently – to challenge, connect and resonate – so that ACCA becomes the go-to place to engage with contemporary art now: a platform for artists, and a centre for the exchange of ideas, to reflect and inspire positive change in people and communities.

With a long-standing tradition of adventurous, provocative and ambitious programming, ACCA has an outstanding track record propelling artists’ careers, and a significant legacy of major commissions which continue to circulate and influence the understanding, appreciation and recent history of contemporary art.

INSTITUTE OF MODERN ART

Since 1975 the Institute of Modern Art has been the hub of Brisbane’s contemporary art scene, presenting an annual program of exhibitions, public programs, publications, and offsite programs by Queensland, Australian, and international artists.

As one of Australia’s leading independent contemporary art spaces, our vision is to become a truly inclusive, sustainable, and future focused organisation. Through our artistic programs, which include exhibitions, publications, offsite projects, and public programs, we invest in the local, shape the national, and impact the international.

Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts

Established in 1989, the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA) is a not-for-profit arts organisation making space for current and future generations of contemporary artists and audiences. PICA runs a year-round program of exhibitions, performances and events and is known for the leading role it plays in supporting artists to present challenging ideas and boundary-defining new work.

PICA’s key aim is to support artists through their practice to present and stimulate critical discussion around the arts and broader cultural issues. Providing space for experimentation, critical analysis, discussion and debate is fundamental to its charter.
