Sofie Laguna
Sofie Laguna’s books have been named Honour Books and Notable Books in the Children’s Book Council of Australia Book of the Year Awards and have been shortlisted in the Queensland Premier’s Awards. Most recently, Sofie won the Miles Franklin Award for her novel The Eye of the Sheep.
Lindy Morrison OAM
Lindy Morrison OAM played drums with The Go-Betweens from 1980 until 1989 and with Cleopatra Wong from 1990–1993. She has been the elected Artist Director of the Phonographic Performance Company of Australia since 1993. Lindy is very committed to artists’ rights issues, copyright law reform and the development of policies to increase the flow of income to recording artists. Lindy was recently awarded the Ted Albert Award for services to the music industry.
