Copyright Agency members celebrated in the 2023 EISSI Awards

Earlier this month, representatives from the Association of Consulting Surveyors NSW and the Institution of Surveyors NSW held the 25th Excellence in Surveying and Spatial Information (EISSI) Awards at a Gala Dinner in Sydney.
The awards night recognises the achievements of NSW based organisations and individuals from across the surveying and spatial information profession and celebrates industry excellence and growth.
We are delighted to share our congratulations to the following surveyor members who were recognised in the 2023 awards:
Gregory Frith, of member company Rygate Surveyors, received the Professional Surveyor of the Year award.
Najib Nicholas, of member company SDG, jointly won the Young Professional Surveyor of the Year.
Land Development Consultancy, Beveridge Williams, took home the Professional Organisation of the Year award.
Andrew Baker, of member company Monteath & Powys, received the Sir Thomas Mitchell Award (for best overall project), alongside ARTC for the Inland Rail Project.
Casey Surveying and Design’s Thomas Casey was named the winner of the Rural Cadastral Surveying & Land Titling award for the Carmel Lane Baradine project.
Lachlan Broome from Degotardi, Smith and Partners received the Urban Cadastral Surveying & Land Titling award for The Explorers Tree Last Stand.
David Armstrong, of Craig & Rhodes, was highly commended in the same category for The “Reserved Road” that wasn’t and the battle-axe handle that could have cut off a community – An exercise in adverse possession.
Lastly, lifelong supporter and advocate for surveying, Ian Iredale, was awarded with Outstanding Contribution to the Surveying Profession.
