Teaching Australia seeks answers about Aussie stories

November 9, 2016

La Trobe University and Melbourne University have joined forces to develop a project called Teaching Australia, with $15,000 from the Cultural Fund. The project is led by Professor Sue Martin and Associate Professor Larissa McLean Davies and aims to enhance Australian teachers’ knowledge of, and readiness to teach, Australian literature in a 21st century global context. The first stage of the project is a survey to establish what Australian texts are being taught across the primary and secondary years of schooling.

If you are teaching English from Foundation to Year 10 (or know someone who is), Teaching Australia would like to hear from you about how you select and teach Australian texts. Please complete this short survey to provide your input to this important research.
